Youth Entrepreneurship

Youth Entrepreneurship Desks operate as autonomous units within the Youth Information Centres with the aim of providing support to young people wishing to initiate and develop business activity. The Desks provide information on matters such as:

  • Procedures for setting up enterprises
  • Business prospects in a particular area
  • Possibilities of securing financing
  • Loan possibilities and procedures
  • General advice on business conduct
  • Technical advice on drawing up a business plan
  • Monitoring of business plan implementation

The General Secretariat for Youth has to date provided business-related information to more than 2,500 young men and women all over Greece. Of these, over 400 have already set up their own business.

Youth Entrepreneurship Desks are currently operating in Athens, Thessaloniki and Larissa.
