April 2003: Euro-zone unemployment stable at 8.8%, EU15 up to 8.1%

Euro-zone seasonally-adjusted unemployment stood at 8.8% in April 2003, unchanged compared to March, Eurostat - Statistical Office of the European Communities in Luxembourg - reports. It was 8.3% in April 2002. The EU15 unemployment rate was 8.1% in April 2003, compared to 8.0% in March. It was 7.6% in April 2002.
